Little Owl had her first visit to the dentist this week.
She spent the morning practising showing her teeth.
Little Owl wasn't booked in for a full appointment,
she was accompanying me to mine to see what was happens.
But she also got a turn sitting in the chair.
Although she wasn't so keen on showing her teeth off!
Best of all....
Little Owl got a sticker for being a good girl!
These were the days when i enjoyed the dentist - and always got a sticker! Max
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping she'll always like it - fingers crossed!
DeleteAww! How adorable!
ReplyDeleteMy girls still get so excited about the stickers :)
Thank you! The sticker was definitely the highlight!
DeleteOh, how cute! I don't know if this was your intention, but exposing her to the dentist, without her actually undergoing some procedure, would greatly help once she herself sits on the patient's chair. She already knows what to expect, so I'm hoping she'll take it easy when it's her turn. Plus, she can get a well-deserved sticker on her next visit! How fun is that?

It pays to instill that kind of enthusiasm to kids, especially as far as dental work is concerned. It is something they will have go through on their own someday, might as well get them to get to it willingly earlier on, right? Kudos to you for setting a good example for your Little Owl!

She’s adorable! Anyway, now she knows what to expect once it’s her full turn for the dentist’s visit. You’re setting a good example by imparting with her the importance of dental health at a young age. She'll definitely grow up with a wonderful set of pearly whites. Cheers!
